Jane Lynch poked fun of Steve Harvey's epic Miss Universe blunder while hosting the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday.

This time, the joke was on Thomas Lennon, who 'won' a special PCA trophy for his work on the CBS sitcom The Odd Couple.

Just as the 45-year-old actor began his acceptance speech, the 55-year-old Golden Globe winner interrupted him onstage LA's Microsoft Theater.

'I'm sorry, I have to apologise here,' explained Jane - who joked that she 'skipped' dress rehearsal.

Lennon looked shocked as an Ariadna Gutiérrez lookalike sauntered up to the podium and swapped her bouquet for his statuette.

It's been two weeks since Harvey - who turns 59 this month - announced the wrong winner during the Fox-televised pageant.

After crowning 22-year-old Ariadna, the Miss Universe title was then handed over to Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach.

Gutiérrez took the loss in stride, and giddily retweeted her 139K fans' posts about the People's Choice Awards gag.
